Plies on the hottest mc's of 2009 list. MTV is running the poll where the hottest MC's of 2009 need to be picked and plies has made the cut along side some of the best artists in the game. Plies has not released many big hits in 2009 compared to his success of 2008 yet Becky has been a great underground track. Plies has told MTV awards and that are a small part of his situation and that they are not a big influence to him.

The crowd of 22 thousand people were lucky enough
to grab some of the cash if you were up the front that is.
Models threw out the cash wearing "Becky" shirts in promo
for plies new goon hit Becky.

 Plies is working on a new album, after dropping three
successful albums which the streets all loved and
all so doing very well in record sales and charts.
Its time for a whole new project. Plies has a list of 5 people
he wants to be on his new album.
The possible artists which will appear on the new album are
said to include - Maino, Jadakiss and Fabolous.
Plies even has had talk of getting on a track with
timbaland, Plies is defiantly looking to tap into a
new market to gain more market share, what ever the
story is we will keep you posted.

 Big Gates plies older Brother is FREE.
That's right goons and goonettes, plies
big brother Ronell Levatte is free from
Jail after been locked up for 3 years
for a Florida nightclub shoot out.
Plies was also involved with the shoot out
but was later cleared.
Plies has thanked every one who supported
him for the last 3 years and felt his situation
where his brother was locked up.
Plies has his first Easter with his older brother
this year and it was a special experience.
But it was not a time for partying as
Big Gates was straight down to business and
wants plies to keep on top of his game
and to keep making hits.

Plies has motioned his brothers name in
numerous tracks which he has released over
the past 3 years most notably been
100 years.

Stay tunes for a new plies album hopefully
in August this year.

Plies dives down to Number four this week on the charts. Plies Da Realist sold a healthy 53,000 units this week the album has sold 167,000 copies.
In other plies news people are still not happy about his album launch party where plies where he showed up very late to the party, people
had paid big money to see plies perform for them and were expecting a good show. Plies showed up at 3am to the show and only performed a few track from da realist and some old material then club staff told every one to go home.
